Vault Pressure Control is seeking a Machinist Helper to support the machinist manufacturing department with a variety of duties. The role involves cleaning parts for inspection, maintaining tools and chip hoppers, and assisting with material handling.

Candidates should have basic computer skills, strong communication, and be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Forklift certification and overhead crane experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist machinist manufacturing with various duties.
• Clean and wash parts for inspection.
• Clear chip hopper as needed.
• Set up and clean tools as needed.
• Operate band saw, overhead crane and forklift as required.
• Handle materials and perform general labor tasks.
• Stand, walk, lift, and bend as part of daily duties.

• Clear chip hopper as needed.
• Clean and set up tools as needed.
• Will operate band saw, overhead crane and forklift as needed.
• Material handling.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, stooping and bending is required.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Previous machinist helper experience desired
• Forklift certification
• Overhead crane experience
• Good oral communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

Work Environment

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical components, airborne fumes, and particles
• Exposure to heat, cold, wet and snow conditions
• Moderate to loud noise levels
