Job summary

Ecore International in Lockport, NY is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role sets up and operates CNC equipment, performs grinding, fabricates and refurbishes blades, and supports production across multiple machines.

Candidates with CNC programming or coding experience are highly preferred. This position offers a consistent 40-hour work week, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed, and a pay range based on experience between

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

1st shift 7am-3:30pm M-F (OT and Saturdays as needed)

Pay based upon experience $21.00-$27.00 hr

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment, performing grinding operations, fabricating and refurbishing blades, and supporting production across multiple machines. Candidates with CNC programming or coding experience are highly preferred.

This position offers a consistent 40-hour work week, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipment.
• Operate additional equipment, including Blanchard grinders, and other shop machinery as production needs require.
• Fabricate and refurbish industrial blades.

Schedule

• Full-time
• 40 hours per week
• Saturday overtime as needed

Tools & Equipment

• Employees are required to provide their own basic hand tools. (calipers, micrometers, wrenches and hammers)
• Specialized tools are provided by the company.
• Annual tool reimbursement of $500.
• PPE provided
• Steel Toe/ Composite Toe required $95.00 annual boot allowance

This position operates in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to:

• Dust and airborne particles
• Temperature fluctuations and extreme heat
• High-pressure air, steam, or gas systems
• Moving mechanical equipment and machinery

Required PPE includes:

• Safety glasses

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, climb, push, and pull.
• Lift, move, and handle materials and equipment throughout the shift.
• Exert up to 130 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds continuously.
• Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Effectively communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production and safety matters.
