Job summary

Delta Precision Components, LLC in Livonia, MI is hiring skilled machinists and apprentices to set up and safely operate CNC equipment, hold tight gear tolerances, and monitor processes for quality. 1st and 2nd shifts with weekend overtime.

Delta Precision Components, LLC (including Delta Gear, LLC and Delta Research, LLC) manufactures complex aerospace components, assemblies, precision gears, and machined parts for the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries. With facilities in Livonia, Michigan, Delta utilizes advanced CNC machining, gear cutting, grinding, and finishing technologies. We are growing and ready to add new team member to our crew!

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
• Weekend overtime, available and may be required based on customer schedules

Work Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up and safely operate CNC equipment
• Hold tight gear tolerances
• Monitor process to ensure product quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. We welcome 5+ years hands-on CNC/Machining experience, especially in aerospace manufacturing, in lieu of the education requirement.
• CNC experience required
• Understanding of GD&T
• Ability to inspect quality and make adjustments to maintain specifications
• Demonstrated commitment to working safely

Physical Requirements

• Wear required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
• Frequent standing, bending, and twisting
• Occasional lift of 25 lbs. Lifting, with assistance, above 25 lbs.
