Job summary

GE Vernova Greenville Gas Turbine Machinist Apprenticeship Program combines on-the-job training with coursework to build fundamentals for a skilled machinist role. The 3-year program offers rotations through manufacturing, Lean, inspection, and CAD/CAM applications.

Apprentices are paid during training; GE covers tuition, fees, and books, and mentors and reviews are provided. You will earn an Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology through the program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent by the start date.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be 18+ by December 7, 2026.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Wear PPE and work in a tobacco-free environment.
