Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced machinists in operating lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines; learn setup and adjustments.
• Perform basic machining operations: cutting, drilling, grinding, and finishing under supervision.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for tolerances and specs.
• Use and maintain hand tools, measuring instruments, and machinery; follow safety protocols.
• Assist in maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas; report malfunctions or hazards to supervisor.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including time, materials, and issues; provide training feedback.
• Work with apprentices and machinists to support production goals and foster a safe, efficient environment.
