Job Summary

Hourly rate: $27.06/hr plus 15% Shift Differential

We are about supporting the mission of the warfighter. Our products can be found with every U.S. Military branch with allies around the world. The Machinist #3 loads, operates, and unloads a variety of conventional machines, presses, saws, and other industrial related equipment to produce parts per manufacturing process. Ensures parts are within the specified tolerances using the prescribed gages.

Responsibilities

Employees will have primary responsibilities in one or more of these job disciplines:

• Qualifier
• Lathes Chamberer
• Broacher Rifling
• Straightener
• Cut Off Saw Operator
• Grinder Cylindrical
• Deep Hole Driller

May be required to perform other duties as required by management.

Must have physical ability to frequently lift, move, adjust, etc. items weighing approximately 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Employee must have basic computer skills and may be required to enter and verify information into written forms or database(s) as appropriate.
• Average 8 months; Includes 4 months through 1 year.
• Must be capable of gaging and inspecting parts.
• Basic ability in shop math skills.
