Northrop Grumman in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Machinist 3 for the Armament Systems Business Unit on a second shift (4x10, 3:00 – 1:30 A.M.).
You will fabricate components to engineering drawings, operate CNC lathes and mills, follow blueprints, measure parts with gauges, and maintain equipment while contributing to lean improvements in a collaborative team environment.

Northrop Grumman has 5 openings for a Machinist 3 for our Armament Systems Business Unit located in Mesa, AZ.
Armament Systems is a leading supplier of integrated medium-caliber weapon systems for land, air and sea platforms through its world renowned Bushmaster® line of automatic cannons produced at its Mesa, Arizona facility.
This is a second shift position: Hours: M-Th 4x10, 3:00 – 1:30 A.M.
The Machinist is responsible for fabrication of various components and samples that meet design specifications. Operates various conventional and/or numerically controlled machining centers, lathes, and surface grinders on semi-complex jobs. Able to work from blueprints, sketches, planning sheets, verbal instructions, and/or engineering, tooling, or equipment information. Contributes to organizational initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs. Works with limited guidance, in a team environment.
Primary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
