RTX is seeking a Machinist Technician for 2nd shift in Springdale, AR. Hours are 3:00PM-11:30PM with an 8% shift differential. Training on 1st shift is available during probation.

The role works in a clean, climate-controlled, FAA-regulated PSD facility with overtime opportunities after training. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC, reading blueprints, preparing fixtures/tools, performing maintenance, and ensuring precision with micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 2 years of machining experience.
• Previous experience/training reading blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine machining and set-up requirements.

• Set-up and operate conventional, special purpose, and computerized numeric control (CNC) machines to fabricate and repair metallic and non-metallic parts.
• Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine machine and set-up requirements.

What You Will Do

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Machinist Technician for 2nd Shift hours are Monday-Friday, 3:00PM-11:30PM. You will receive a shift differential when working on 2nd shift of 8%. Employee is subject to training on 1st shift.1st shift hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-3:00PM.

PSD is a clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center in a climate-controlled facility.Overtime opportunity may be available, after a period of training. Pratt & Whitney PSD is an FAA regulated facility, and compliance with such rules is a condition of employment.
