Machinist

Duration: 11/21/2016 - 9/22/2017

Location: San Jose, CA 95131 United States

Compensation: $20/hr on W2

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
• 2 - 3 years of mechanical (machined parts) & visual inspection experience
• At least 6 months working in an ISO regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience as a Machinist
• Experience in the use of & programming Zeiss CMM
• Previous experience working in a medical device environment
• Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering drawings
• Effective writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Access Database, etc.
• Good computer skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures
• Good administrative skills and knowledge of metrology rules including basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing – ASME Y 14.5 -1994 preferred
• Knowledge of BD products is highly desirable
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Self-sufficient, punctual, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
