Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking an entry-level Production Trainee to join the shop floor. This trainable role exposes you to multiple areas of operations and prepares you for advancement to skilled production work.

You don't need prior shop experience; you need a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to be trained. Typical duties include sweeping floors, packing finished products, deburring parts, and learning to run a machine under supervision.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality; on-time every day.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort in manufacturing environment with noise, oils, and coolant.
• Basic English reading and math.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area with sweeping and cleaning.
• Pack, label, and prepare finished parts for shipment per work order specifications.
• Deburr parts using hand tools to meet quality standards.
• Learn to operate production machinery under supervision; progress toward independent run of machines.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and lock-out / tag-out rules.
• Inspect parts visually for defects and flag concerns to the lead.
• Support other production team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
