Qualifications

A.A.S. Degree in Machining/Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred but not required.
Journeyman card and/or other industry certifications preferred but not required.
Minimum of five plus years’ experience in related industry experience in machining, manufacturing, mechanical systems, or skilled trades.

Responsibilities

Plan and teach courses that fulfill current curriculum goals and program learning objectives.
Remains current with subject matter and instructional methodology.
Maintains classroom hours per college policies.
Employs assessment techniques to measure student performance in achieving course goals and objectives.
Communicates progress in the course to students in a timely manner.
Determines and submits students' grades per college policies and procedures.
Supports the mission of the program, division, and College.
