Job summary

Halbert Brothers Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Installer & Rigger with a Class A CDL to support field installation operations in California. This role focuses on precision placement, rigging, alignment, and secure removal of heavy machinery at customer sites.

Driving is a supporting function; most work is on job sites with strict safety requirements. Candidates should have rigging knowledge, CDL A, and forklift certification for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years installing/uninstalling heavy machinery, including CNC or similar assets.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record and forklift certification.
• Knowledge of rigging, alignment, leveling, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, align, and level heavy machinery at job sites.
• Perform precision rigging for CNC machines and high-value assets.
• Operate Class A vehicles for machinery removal and installation on-site.
• Secure, load, and unload equipment per DOT/OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate with field crews and clients to meet project timelines.
• Maintain safety standards and accurate transportation logs.
