Job summary

LG Electronics in Clarksville, TN is seeking a diligent maintenance technician to inspect, operate, and test machinery, diagnose issues, and keep equipment running smoothly. The role requires basic math, strong communication, and the ability to work 10-hour shifts with overtime on Saturdays.

You will perform startup/shutdown, troubleshoot problems, assemble and repair wiring or components, and help maintain machinery with full-time benefits and competitive pay at $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Over 2 years of experience preferred.
• Basic mathematics skills are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate problems.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours/day with overtime on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and report to leadership.
• Start up and shut down machinery.
• Mechanical troubleshooting of various issues.
• Assemble, install, repair wiring or electrical components with basic malfunctions.
• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts.
• Maintain good condition and operation of machinery.
