Baker Hughes is seeking a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona, to provide complete service solutions for critical rotating machinery. You'll be responsible for diagnosing machinery problems, performing site visits, and delivering timely reports to customers.

As a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer, you will be providing customers complete service solutions to address their critical rotating machinery assets, protection, and monitoring system. This will include evaluating machinery condition based on rotor dynamic analysis.

As a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing machinery problems based upon vibration data, operational data, and customer communications.
• Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service.
• Completing timely reports that identify findings and provide recommendations to the customer.
• Building relationships with customers to provide a high-level of service delivery, becoming their trusted advisor for their rotating equipment health.
• Calculating and overseeing placement of balance weights.
• Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering a plus)
• Have minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Be available for extensive travel (up to 70%) and significant over-time (paid).
• Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport).
• Be eligible to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential).
• Be eligible to travel overseas and/or work on offshore platforms on occasion.

• Knowledge of or experience with AT LEAST one or more of the following: mechanical vibration, rotating machinery vibration and/or diagnostics, rotodynamic analysis, PdM data acquisition/evaluation, machinery balancing and alignment.
• Knowledge of Bently Nevada products and CordantTM services.
• Basic familiarity with computer network systems.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $79,490.00 - $170,670.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. You will be eligible to participate in the Baker Hughes Short-term incentive plan applicable for the above position. The actual payout for your short-term incentive award will be based on company and individual performance and is contingent upon Baker Hughes achieving pre-determined financial results.
