Job summary

CTS Corporation in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Cross-trained Operator III to support the Quality Thermistor Inc. production line, programming equipment and performing data entry.

You will prepare chemicals, mount wafers, solder chips, run tests, and input data while following safety and quality procedures.

Requires high school diploma and 3 years' operator/technician experience; English proficiency; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of direct operator/technician experience.
• 3 years of Process Technician I experience or equivalent.
• Reading, writing, and communicating in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal oxides and other organic chemicals for production.
• Support casting activities: weigh, mix, cast and sort green tape.
• Mount silvered wafers on glass/wax for dicing into chips.
• Solder chips to wires for probe assembly and characterize with ware temperature test station.
• Input data into control charts and report data.
• Follow safety protocols, quality procedures, and work instructions.
• Understand technical measurement equipment and be trainable on specifics.
• Produce data rapidly and accurately while maintaining quality.
• Follow work instructions and submit formal documents.
• Maintain housekeeping in laboratory and production areas.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and move materials as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
