Position Summary

Position Summary Bridgestone is seeking Machine Technicians (MT) to join our Passenger and Light Truck Tire (PSR/LTR) and Off-Road Radial Tire (AOR) manufacturing plants located in Aiken County, South Carolina. Together, these two facilities employ approximately 1,900 team members. This is a Career Bridgestone Aiken provides career growth opportunities. Competitive Compensation

Competitive Compensation Machine Technicians have starting wages of $24 and can progress up to $35 per hour. Our plant’s hourly teammates participate in a bonus program that gives you the opportunity to earn extra income. Example: 2022 Averages in Pay w/ Variable Bonus Plan 7.82% per week Fully Skilled at $30 per hour plus Result Sharing $32.35/hr.

Physical Demands

• Manual dexterity to operate buttons, levers, and tire material
• Ability to lift 50/75 pounds unassisted throughout workday
• Physical mobility to squat, stoop, bend, climb, and walk
• Ability to push/pull 600-pound carts requiring 30 pounds of force
• Correctable vision and hearing
• Willing to work in exposure to weather (hot & cold)

Our Team Members must be extremely flexible and comfortable participating in a team environment. Successful candidates will meet the following requirements:

• Must be willing and have the ability to work rotating swing shifts
• Must be willing to learn and have the ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment
• Must be able to meet and maintain all expected behavioral characteristics

Preferred: 2 years of previous industrial/manufacturing experience AND 2 years of stable work history
