Moog is seeking a Machine Shop Value Stream Manager in Blacksburg, VA. You will lead the safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance of the machine shop, driving Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across a high-velocity production environment.

Qualifikationen

• Requires bachelor’s degree in technical/engineering/business or equivalent.
• 7 years of progressive manufacturing/ops experience.
• 7 years of direct supervision/leadership.
• Knowledge of machine shop operations and processes.
• Experience leading Lean, continuous improvement and waste reduction.

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality machined components that exceed customer expectations.You will report to the Operations Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.To be considered for the Machine Shop Value Stream Manager, you'll need:* Typically, a bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or business discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.* 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, or a technical environment.* 7 years of direct supervision/leadership* Strong knowledge of machine shop operations, machining processes, and manufacturing best practices.* Experience leading Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, Kaizen, and waste reduction initiatives.* Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and achieve operational results in a fast-paced environment.* Experience with capacity planning, resource management, budgeting, and capital investment planning.* Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.* Ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other functional teams.
