Job summary

Tradesmen International, LLC in Morris, MN is hiring experienced Machine Shop Laborers for first shift. The role offers pay of $28-30/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site.

You will assist fabrication shop activities, read blueprints, handle measurements, and safely operate forklifts and cranes after training. Prior machine shop or fabrication experience is a plus as you grow with our team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Comfortable working with measurements and fractions.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and cranes.
• Previous fabrication, machine shop, or industrial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fabrication shop activities and machine shop work.
• Help brake operators organize and handle parts.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints and dimensions.
• Fabricate parts while maintaining precise tolerances.
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes after completing required training.
• Use a tape measure accurately, including 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" measurements.
• Convert feet to inches and fractions to decimals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-30/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.
