Job summary

PPC Partners is seeking an Automation Safety Engineer to join our Northeast team in a challenging machine safety environment. You will develop automation and safety projects from concept to delivery, collaborate with engineering and production teams, perform risk assessments, validations, and documentation, and help grow the safety group in the Northeast region.

The role emphasizes hands-on project execution, safety compliance, and customer interaction, with opportunities for technical growth

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Two to four years related experience and/or training in industrial safety; Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; Safety Certificate is a plus but not required.
Four to seven years related experience and/or training in industrial safety; Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education; Safety Certificate is a plus but not required.
Ten or more years related experience and/or training in industrial safety; Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education; TUV certification required.

Responsibilities

Perform Validations of SRP/CS.
Perform OSHA Press Inspections.
Interacting with CAD, Engineers and Lead Engineers.
Interacting with the customer.
Industrial controls and basic ladder logic.
Maintain files and quality checks.
Work with Project Manager to develop project plans including budget, timeline, resources, BOMs, test forms.
