Job summary

The role requires reading instructions, teamwork, and a strong attendance record. Hourly rate starts at 16.65 with a 2.10 shift differential, with potential for overtime based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of reading work instructions.
• Must be capable of reading safety rules.
• Must be capable of reading a ruler and operating a calculator.
• Must be able to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be capable of maintaining good attendance.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• At least six (6) months of manufacturing work history desired.

Responsibilities

• Pack product off machine per orientation on stacking diagrams.
• Pack product into cartons without deforming the product.
• Ensure the carton quantity is correct, and every carton is labeled appropriately.
• Measure and test product. Identify defects and notify operator; stop machinery if defects persist.
• Maintain a pace that keeps up with machine throughput capabilities.
• Remove start-ups and screen for defects.
• Inspect and clear bag overflow area; complete required quality checks.
