Machine Operators – 1st Shift

Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday - Thursday (OT paid after 40 hours)

Position Summary

Operates all coating equipment and machinery to produce high-quality products on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, product specifications, and special instructions to ensure an understanding of requirements
• Perform set up of machines to exact specifications and ensure material is loaded properly
• Ensure specifications are followed accurately to mix chemical/adhesive solution
• Know how to perform all functions on all production machines
• Identify all finished products accurately
• Verify that the final product meets quality standards

Experience and Skills

• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a machine operator (operating coating line preferred)
• Ability to read and understand all product specifications and work orders
• Ability to neatly and accurately record required data
• Ability to propel and control heavy chemical vats on wheeled pallets across the warehouse and production floor and up and down slight ramps
• Must be able to work in a team environment and follow detailed work instructions from supervisors.
