Job summary

ERMCO, a leading U.S. manufacturer of distribution transformers, is hiring for production roles at our Bristol, WI facility.

You will operate processes and equipment, perform safe start-up, run production lines, and assist in forming silicon and amorphous cores while following ERMCO safety policies. Applicants must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs, read and follow instructions, use hand and power tools, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Follow written and spoken instructions.
• Use an iPad or other electronic communication devices.
• Work well in a team with open communication.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Perform basic arithmetic in all measurement units.
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques.
• Grip, reach and handle objects and tools.
• Use hand/power tools (cordless drills, wrenches, hammers).
• Operate overhead hoists and lift assist equipment.
• Must lift/push 50+ lbs and pull up to 50+ lbs.
• Stand and walk frequently.
• Vision requirements (20/40) with/without glasses.

Responsibilities

• Understand and carry out detailed instructions for operating processes and equipment.
• Perform safe start-up, operation, tool changes, and shutdown of equipment.
• Lift/move materials weighing 50+ lbs with/without assistance.
• Handle metal parts, use tools, and form silicon and amorphous cores per ERMCO standards.
• Follow all ERMCO safety policies and procedures.
