Job summary

Lingo Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator - Sheet Metal Fabricator in Pittsburgh to start ASAP. This role involves operating sheet metal fabrication equipment for HVAC ductwork components and reading tapes measures accurately.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing or machine operation experience, strong attention to detail, and can read basic work orders and blueprints. 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a pay rate of $15.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sheet metal fabrication machinery and equipment.
• Read and follow work orders and production schedules.
• Possess basic blueprint reading skills.
• Load/unload sheet metal and materials, inspect finished products for quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work independently or as part of a team with good attendance.

Machine Operator/Sheet Metal Fabricator - Responsible for operating sheet metal fabrication equipment and assembling materials used in HVAC ductwork systems. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or machine operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.

Pay rate & Scheduled:

• $15.00-$20.00/hour (Based on Experience)
• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Safely operated sheet metal fabrication machinery and equipment
• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, fabrication, or production experience preferred
• Sheet metal or HVAC manufacturing experience is a plus
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Assemble materials used to manufacture ductwork for HVAC systems
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and basic blueprints
• Accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch
• Load and unload sheet metal and other production materials
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with additional production and manufacturing duties as needed
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to remain on your feet throughout the entire shift
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
