American Standard Circuits, Inc. is seeking a reliable Machine Operator / Production Operator for 1st shift in Chicago, IL.
You will set up jobs, operate presses and a pumice scrubber, apply soldermasks and legends, and develop LPI ink or dry film on circuit boards. Requires a high school diploma, good manual dexterity, and stamina to stand long periods in a manufacturing environment with noise, dirt and chemicals; schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.
Description
1st shift schedule is 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Overtime will likely be available during the week, as well as half days on Saturdays.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS - MACHINE OPERATOR / PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Actively involved in all duties for procedures related to screening process to manually apply various soldermasks and legends to circuit boards.

Reports to department supervisor and Director of Operations.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing for long periods of time is required.
Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.
Use of hand tools requires dexterity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with occasional half days on Saturdays
