Job summary

Green Bay Packaging - Great Lakes Division in Wisconsin is seeking a production/press operator to set up and run converting equipment including pre-feeder, rotary press, and die-cutters. You will inspect dies, secure cylinders, and monitor quality across prints and cuts.

The role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to work overtime including Saturdays when needed. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manually set up press, print, score, and die cut accurately in accordance with proper operating techniques and specs.
  • Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
  • Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and tightly secured.
  • Monitor box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, die cut, and print.
  • Become efficient in all aspects of the machine – pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
  • Ink management skills/color adjustment (PH and Viscosity).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
