Job summary

Bosch Group is seeking a Machine Operator to support the PA2 Value Stream by running Packaging Machines such as clamshell sealing, RF sealing, and shrink wrap. Operators must troubleshoot, adjust for quality, and complete required trainings to maintain safe, efficient output.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, use hands proficiently, and meet production standards while following safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment in Lincolnton, North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
• Demonstrate proper hand dexterity for packing tasks.
• Read and follow standard operating procedures.
• Lift up to 40 lb boxes during setup and packing.
• Basic math skills for quantities and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all components of the packaging machines.
• Load materials: blades, clamshells, labels, and cards into the machine.
• Replenish materials as needed and manage cartons and pallets.
• Operate lifts and hoists; adjust machines for efficiency.
• Follow SOPs and maintain machine cleanliness and organization.
• Adhere to safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.

Aiding to the production process by successfully operating all Packaging Machines in The PA2 Value Stream. Machines consists of Algus Clambshell sealing, RF sealing, Hang Tag, Shrink Wrap and Manual Tube Packaging.. Each operator must be familiar with operating all parts of the machines. Responsible for gaining and maintaining general knowledge of machines throughout the reciprocating saw blade manufacturing area (PA2). You must have the knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to the machines when necessary. You are responsible for completing the required training measures (PQ&T's) as they are needed. As a Bosch Associate and as a Machine Operator, you are expected to maintain a positive work environment by following the appropriate safety procedures. You must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day and also have excellent use of your hands. Required to meet production standards.

Responsibilities

Setting up and operating all components of the machine successfully. Loading reciprocating saw blades, clamshells, cards etc... into machine. Replenishing materials as needed (tape, labels, clams, cards, etc). Placing sealed clamshells into cartons / Loading cartons into machine. Loading / Unloading pallets. Operate pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist. Making the necessary adjustments to run machine efficiently. Reading and following standard operating procedures pertaining to the machine. Detect and determine the appropriate quality standards and measures for each machine. Understanding and following procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization. Being willing to operate a variety of machines on an as needed basis. Maintaining knowledge of safety procedures associated with each machine, including but not limited to: Safety guards, emergency stops, and disconnects for lock out tag out.
