Job Responsibilities

• Maintain overall machine operation
• Verify each scheduled production order prior to starting setup
• Order components based on shop order requirements
• Perform all machine setups and adjustments as required
• Unwrap, trim, and prepare rolls for shafting
• Maintain adequate level of glue in pans, drums, or hot melt applicator hopper
• Prepare for the next scheduled order
• Maintain machine and area cleanliness
• Perform First Article Inspection at bag set-ups and quality checks
• Report any substandard materials or mechanical/electrical repairs needed

Job Requirements

• High School GED or Diploma
• Ability to work Monday - Thursday, 12hr Night shift (7pm-7am)
• Associate’s Degree preferred
• Two years of related industry experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read measuring tools
• Complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training, and OSHA Standards Training
• Experience with computers and business equipment
• Annual Hazardous Waste Management training (provided by ProAmpac)
