Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle division in Tampa, FL is seeking a production team member to assist machine operators and support maintenance, cleanup, yard work, and material handling as part of our industrial manufacturing line. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and reliable shift readiness.

You will follow safety procedures, inspect product quality, load/unload trucks, and help set up for shifts. A high school diploma and ability to perform basic arithmetic are required; lifting up to 75 lbs is common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• Ability to follow production and safety procedures.
• Ability to read basic words and numbers and perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Handle assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned.
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
• Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with job changes.
• Use security gear at all times and follow all safety regulations.
• Operate machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist lead operator in preparing for shift production.
• May be required to operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors or vehicles, among others. Internal certification/training is required for these tasks.
• Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain, verify and count product inventory.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

Job Summary

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Ability to follow company production and safety procedures
• Ability to read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide 10’s and 100’s

• While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs. from ground level
