Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled Davenport Machine Operator to run multi-spindle screw machines in Syracuse, NY. You will work on Davenport, Acme-Gridley, and similar platforms, delivering high-volume, precision components in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, strong mechanical skills, and can perform minor setups. You’ll read blueprints, inspect parts, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating multi-spindle screw machines (Davenport, Acme-Gridley, Schütte, Tornos).
• Strong mechanical aptitude for cam-driven machines.
• Ability to perform minor setups and adjustments.
• Experience in high-volume production environments.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot Davenport/Acme-Gridley/multi-spindle machines.
• Adjust cams, tooling, feeds, speeds and attachments for optimal performance.
• Perform in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, gauges.
• Read blueprints, travelers and process sheets.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with supervisors, setup technicians and quality teams to ensure part accuracy.

Davenport Machine Operator Machine Operator – Multi‑Spindle Screw Machines (Davenport / Acme‑Gridley)

Location: Syracuse, NY

Employment Type: Full‑Time

Shift: 1st Shift

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate range from $22 to $35 per hour DOE + shift premium + comprehensive benefits

We are seeking a skilled Multi‑Spindle Screw Machine Operator with hands‑on experience running Davenport, Acme‑Gridley, Brown & Sharpe, Schutte, or Tornos multi‑spindle equipment. If you take pride in producing high‑volume, high‑precision components and enjoy working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

• Operate, and troubleshoot multi‑spindle automatic screw machines including Davenport and Acme‑Gridley platforms
• Adjust cams, tooling, collets, feeds, speeds, and attachments to maintain optimal performance
• Perform in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and process sheets
• Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with supervisors, setup technicians, and quality teams to ensure part accuracy and production efficiency
