The Machine Operator Level 1 employee is responsible for following proper procedures and specifications in the operation of equipment such as but not limited to the Trayloaders , Wire-cut / Rotary, Ovens, Crème Pumps, Pre-scale and the Spreader to ensure consistent finished goods. This would also include the roles of a trainee in the mixing department and the person responsible for the pallet stacking area and those stacking on the individual lines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • May be asked to work in any area of the assembly line to assist in production of baked goods as needed
  • May be asked to work on different lines and/or workstations depending on staffing and production needs, per supervisor discretion.
  • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
  • Accept and adapt easily to change
  • Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement
  • Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation
  • Meet physical demands of job with or without an accommodation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience

A high school diploma is required as experience in an inventory related field, strong organizational skills and computer proficiency are essential, specifically SAP and MS Office software.

  • Bakery experience a plus
