Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of machining or technical manufacturing experience (5+ preferred).
  • Experience with advanced machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining and/or robotic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
  • Basic shop math and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, SPC, or CMM/Keyence systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate a variety of machines including Fanuc and Allen Bradley 4-axis milling machines with robotic loading, grinders, polishers, presses, and CNC equipment.
  • Perform complex, non-routine setups and changeovers to meet tight tolerances and intricate part geometry.
  • Monitor machine performance and make mechanical or program adjustments to ensure quality and output goals.
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits using precision measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Support and train team members as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout, and proper handling of chemicals and materials.

As a Machine Operator, you’ll set up and operate a variety of advanced manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, multi-axis milling machines, and robotic systems. What You’ll Do

What You Bring
