Job summary

AAON Coil Products Inc. in Redmond, Oregon is seeking a Machine Operator I to load production files, prepare machines, and monitor performance for daily production runs.

You will document basic data, maintain an orderly work area, and collaborate with team members to meet targets while following safety protocols and PPE requirements. The role is located in an indoor manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and chemicals.

Qualifications

Primary duties

• Load production files and prepare machines for operation according to instructions.
• Assist in setting up and adjusting equipment for daily production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and report any issues or irregularities to supervisors.
• Perform basic visual inspections to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
• Replenish materials and consumables needed for machine operation.
• Work collaboratively with other operators and team members to meet production targets.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Document basic production data and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Mental and Physical Functions

• This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Use of fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machinery

Work Environment

• Machine Operator I roles are performed in a production facility where safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are prioritized.

• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed boots
• This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
