Job summary

Trulite is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm) in a glass/edging production environment. You will inspect products, follow labels and instructions, and operate a glass-edging machine to polish edges.

Ability to lift up to 75 lb unassisted and up to 150 lb with assistance required. We offer benefits starting Day One, weekly pay, and incentive programs for performance and safety bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMS, CNC, Hand Fab, or Polish Machine operations.
• Production/manufacturing environment experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to push weights greater than 150 lbs with a team.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and adapt to climate in non-climate-controlled facility.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Inspecting product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues
• Following work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process; understanding and communicating paperwork and labels/picking list.
• Setting up and operating a single-side straight-line glass-edging machine to polish glass or mirror edges.

Skills You Bring:

• CMS, CNC, Hand Fab, or Polish Machine Operator experience.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; Glass industry is (not required).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to push weights greater than 150lbs with a team.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and/or Branch Manager.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity).
