Job summary

The YKK AP America Inc. team in Georgia is hiring a Manufacturing Operator to set up and operate primer, pouring, and debridge mill equipment per the production schedule. You will inspect materials, record checks, and support all thermal department machinery operations.

Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience; forklift exposure is preferred. You should be able to stand long shifts, use hand tools, and stay vigilant about safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of forklift experience.
• Employee must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period but could be more as much as twelve (12) hours.
• Job requires regular stooping, bending and kneeling.
• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Must have experience working with hand tools.
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence

Summary:

The purpose of this position is to carry out assigned duties, primarily focused on material handling within the thermal department but support all departmental needs as business demands require.

At YKK AP America Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.88 -$21.35, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Education/Experience:
