SUMMARY: The Machine Operator II will work with various types of fixturing, tooling, etc. as well as perform in-process inspection. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with various types of fixturing, tooling, etc.
  • Perform in-process inspection
  • Report non-conformities to the Supervisor.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Uphold the company core values
  • Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Must have the knowledge and experience necessary for the position.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.
  • Ability to comprehend written and/or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Work well with others and maintain a professional attitude toward co-workers and customers.
  • Disciplined in following safety rules and regulations, signs, warnings, and labels.
  • Experience using various hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, scales, gauges, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years of CNC machine shop experience

SKILLS: Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
