Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and testing throughout shift to identify defects.
• Learn and apply correct parameters to minimize defects and boost output.
• Adjust production line settings based on system feedback and product specs.
• Follow documentation standards and procedures for setup, production, and quality checks.
• Maintain shift reports and checklists as required.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Move raw and finished materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, and related tools.
• Participate in any required job-related trainings.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Complete other tasks assigned by management.

What we need:

The machine operator II is responsible for material movement and machinery operations needed to safely produce quality products.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for quality inspections and testing throughout shift, with attention toidentifyingquality and manufacturing defects.
• Gains understanding of correct parameters specific to Department processes to minimize defect opportunities and increase production output.
• Trains to perform necessary adjustments to production line, via feedback from automated systemsmonitoring, manual testing, and product specifications.
• Adheres to Company and Department standardsregardingdocumentation, set up procedures, production procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Abides by documentation standards andcataloguesadherence to production procedures, including shift reports and varying checklists.
• Understands and follows all Company and Department safety policies, including personal protective equipment and alternate work procedures.
• Responsible for material flow of raw and finished goods as needed, including operation of pallet jacks, forklifts, and other tools as needed.
• Attend any job-related trainingdeemednecessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeepingdutiesas necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

What you have:

• High School Diploma or equivalentrequired.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environmentrequired.
• Prior forklift experiencerequired, 1+ year experience preferred.
• Experiencein production processes involving paperor chemical handling preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all employees within the immediate unit and in related support roles.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingor maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work independently.

• This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be fluctuating temperatures, andadditionaldepartment-specific variables.Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will berequired, and may include hearing protection, safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, and eye protection.
• Other working conditions may include working12 hourshifts and a fixed shift rotation, including holidays.
• Must be able tolift upto 50lbs.;walking, bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs arerequired.
