Job summary

Maker’s Pride is seeking a Machine Operator II for our Boise, Idaho facility. You will perform set-ups, operate packaging equipment, and conduct quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met.

The role requires GMP awareness, ability to adjust machinery, and reliable work habits in a manufacturing environment. You will document results, stage materials for changeovers, and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP or willing to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities for orders.
• Good organizational and communication skills to prioritize work and communicate changes.
• Ability to handle small tools.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.

Job Summary

The Machine Operator II performs set-ups, makes minor adjustments and operates packaging equipment. Identifies acceptable or unacceptable product quality per customer requirements. Performs wash and changeover of equipment. Machine Operators will need to be reliable and able to work with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.

Shift Schedule

Monday – Wednesday / Monday – Thursday, alternating weekly.

Shift Times

A Shift: 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM

B Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment – exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
• Depending on which location, our environments can be very warm or refrigerated.
• Team environment – must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ability to stand up to 80% of the time scheduled
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and 40-75 lbs. assisted.
• Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.
