Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Machine Operator II to support safe, quality production and material flow in a manufacturing setting. You will monitor quality, perform adjustments, and follow SOPs while adhering to safety practices and documentation standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, manufacturing experience, forklift familiarity, and Proficiency with Excel. The role involves 12‑hour shifts with rotating schedules and physical duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience with paper or chemical handling preferred.
• Computer literacy including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality inspections and testing throughout shift, with attention to identifying quality and manufacturing defects.
• Gains understanding of correct parameters to minimize defects and increase production output.
• Trains to perform necessary adjustments to production line, via feedback from automated systems and product specs.
• Adheres to company and department standards regarding documentation, setup procedures, production procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Follows documentation standards and production checklists, including shift reports.
• Understands and follows all safety policies including PPE.
• Responsible for material flow of raw and finished goods, operating pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
• Attends job-related training as deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follows established standard operating procedures.
• Performs general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Performs other tasks assigned by management.
