Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and precision drawings.
• Proficient with measuring tools (micrometer, calipers, height gauge).
• Able to use hand tools and perform basic arithmetic.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe operations by following procedures and regulations.
• Operate various machines within the cell.
• Make minor adjustments or notify leads for major fixes.
• Keep machines and work area clean and organized.
• Perform preventative maintenance including lubrication.
• Make minor repairs and escalate issues to maintenance.
• Count, assist with part transfer, and inspect work in progress.
• Use measuring equipment to maintain close tolerances.
• Follow schedules and procedures; adapt to cell/team concepts and cross-training.
• Ensure safety guards are in place and in good condition.
• Assist other operators as needed.
• Inspect quality of own work and use necessary equipment.
• Operate forklift when required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
