Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking a manufacturing associate for our Ohio operation. The role involves operating palletizers and related equipment, moving materials, and maintaining safety and quality standards on the production floor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and 1 year of forklift experience, with basic math and computer skills. Strong work history and English literacy are required. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment running palletizers, shrink wrappers, banders or equipment of a similar nature is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Solid work history.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
• One (1) year forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Packages finished product according to customer specifications.
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Unload finished product with a forklift from the production area.
• Move incoming material.
• Check identification.
• Shortage reporting.
• Report damaged material.
• FIFO.
• Documents check per the product requirements; apply tier sheets, missing bottles, packing labels to pallets; operate palletizer, strapper, and shrink wrapper.
