Job summary

Schwan's Company in Pasadena, TX is hiring for a full-time production associate on the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–8:30 AM). You will set up and pre-run equipment, monitor line speeds, adjust batch formulas, and ensure product appearance and safety.

Starting pay is $18.25 per hour with a $1.50 night shift differential. We offer weekly Friday pay, two weeks of PTO in year one, holidays, personal days, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for advancement in a growing food

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and alternate shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Control line speeds, batch formula, production rates, and equipment operation.
• Perform quality checks and complete required paperwork (downtime, HACCP, etc.).
• Utilize SAP, SOPs, and safety procedures in daily work.

What You Will Do:

• Setting up and pre-running equipment to ensure proper production startup.

• Controlling line speeds, batch formula, production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product appearance and safety.

• Completing various quality checks.

• Completing all required paperwork (for example: downtime, HACCP, etc., utilizing SAP, SOPs, Safety operation, training, as appropriate).

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED with 0--1 year of relevant experience preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years old with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

• Comfortable with physical labor in a fast-paced, production environment.

• Be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods and work in varying temperature conditions.

• Flexible working overtime, weekends, and alternative shifts as needed.
