Dover Food Retail is seeking a Machine Operator I in Madison, GA to load recipes and follow centerline setups, fabricating products per engineering docs. You will use grinders, drills, saws and hand tools to assemble parts and ensure quality.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of production/machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong mechanical skills. This onsite role includes safety training and opportunities for cross-training and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of production machine operator experience.
• 1-2 years of fabrication/machining preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals.
• Understanding of 6S.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk/sit for long periods.
• Team-oriented and adaptable.

Responsabilités

• Load recipes and follow centerline setups.
• Fabricate assemblies/parts per engineering documents and production standards.
• Set up and lay out work using fixtures and guides.
• Arrange parts for fabrication and staging processes.
• Review finished assemblies against drawings and BOMs.
• Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions.
• Diagnose process and quality issues and suggest improvements.
• Reject defective parts/materials.

Fabricates various types of products and components, meeting defined production schedules. Performs basic operator preventative maintenance.
