Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a production teammate for the West Packaging area. This full-time role covers the 2nd shift (B Crew) from 6:00 p.m. to 6:20 a.m. with a shift differential of $2.00 from 3 p.m.

to 6 a.m. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour. You will help start up and run packaging lines, monitor product quality, and document downtime and safety checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, 0–1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable with physical labor in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Control line speeds, batch formula, production rates, and equipment operation for quality and safety.
• Complete quality checks and required paperwork (downtime, HACCP, etc.).
• Utilize SAP and SOPs for safety, training, and production documentation.

What You Will Do

What You Will Bring
