Determining the optimal tool path for fabricating the part by selecting appropriate machine tools (e.g., lathes, drill presses, milling machines, grinders, boring machines, etc.) and specifying the sequence of tool operations. Manually setting up/adjusting machine tools and/or loading instructions into computer numeric control (CNC) systems. Recommending revisions in design and/or substitutions in material based on machinability or fabrication problems encountered. A Support 1 is an entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience. Responsibilities typically include: Work is routine or follows standard procedures..
