Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Machine Operator for the Heading department in Stanfield, NC, on the 2nd shift (M–F, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM). Training occurs during 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM). You will help meet the production schedule, perform changeovers, and ensure quality parts by following process checks and plans.

What You’ll Do:

As a Machine Operator in the Heading department, you’ll be part of our Manufacturing team located in Stanfield, NC. You’ll get to:

• Assures achievement of the production schedule.
• Perform machine change overs
• Produce quality parts by following in process checks and production plans
• Run parts to customer specifications.
• Ensures improvements are sustained in work area.
• Actively supports and complies with all environmental, health, and safety practices and regulations.
• Coordinate wire supply and/or materials to work centers as needed.
• Supports all 6S work initiatives
• Provide assistance in quality improvements.
• Perform all physical movements of materials and the entry of computer transactions into the manufacturing system as needed.
• Demonstrates motivation to achieve all Production, Quality, and Safety Targets.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Must complete all applicable training plans.

• Ability to read blueprints
• Mechanical aptitude (automotive experience helpful)

• 2+ years’ experience operating machines
