Mid-States Bolt & Screw in Cranston, RI is seeking a dedicated candidate for a full-time Machine Operator position. You will be trained to operate machinery, set up equipment, and ensure parts are produced to specification. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production, inspection, and machine operation duties.
• Set up cold press heading machinery and ensure materials are available.
• Make mechanical adjustments to machines for proper part configuration.
• Monitor production equipment and maintain a safe workspace.
• Assist shop technicians and materials clerk as necessary.
• Perform duties assigned by management and follow safety rules.

You will be trained as a Machine Operator. You will be trained to:

• Carry out production, inspection, and machine operation duties
• Set up cold press heading machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
• Make mechanical adjustments to machines for proper part configuration
• Effectively monitor production equipment
• Assist the shop technicians and materials clerk as necessary
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers to the thousands of an inch.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
