Job summary

Guardian Glass in Richburg, SC is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and troubleshoot equipment in daily manufacturing across Float, Tempering, Edge Delete, Off-Line Cutting and Coater departments.

Shifts are rotational (up to 12 hours) with holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. You will prepare final products for shipping, follow run schedules, and maintain quality and safety standards in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer or tablet.
• One or more years of experience in farming, manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
• Six months or more of machine operator experience.
• Experience operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot equipment utilized during daily manufacturing.
• Prepare final products for shipping and distribution.
• Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, report/escalate unresolved issues immediately.
• Participate in setting team goals and managing job assignments.
• Drive and meet quality standards.
• Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
