Job summary

Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ seeks a part-time Machine Operator/Foreman to run mowing, irrigation, and maintenance tasks on the golf course. You will supervise staff, perform safety checks, and assist in daily operations to meet Crystal Springs quality standards.

Applicants should have experience on a golf course, be able to work early mornings in all weather, and commit to weekends and holidays through mid-November.

Qualifications

• Early morning start during season and work in all weather.
• Prior golf course experience preferred.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Available to work until mid-November.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowing, utility and landscaping equipment.
• Perform spraying under licensed pesticide applicator.
• Perform irrigation repairs and periodic audits.
• Oversee staff on daily routines and special projects.
• Oversee aeration and other cultural practices.
• Ensure compliance to Crystal Springs and OHSA safety standards.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks: divot filling, ball mark repair, trimming, weed removal.
• Assist in landscaping of clubhouse, parking lots and other areas.
• Ensure course and facility conditions meet Crystal Springs standards.
• Perform tasks to benefit golf course operation.

Machine Operator/Foreman

Salary: $18.00 Annually

Crystal Springs Resort is currently seeking a Golf Course Machine Operator/Foremen.

Responsibilities for this position consist of but are not limited to:

• Operate all mowing, utility and landscaping equipment
• Perform spraying under licensed pesticide applicator
• Perform irrigation repairs and periodic audits
• Oversee staff on daily routines and special projects
• Oversee aeration and other cultural practices
• Ensure compliance to Crystal Springs and OHSA safety standards
• Perform any other miscellaneous task to include divot filling, ball mark repair, trimming, and weed removal
• Assist in landscaping of the clubhouse, parking lots and other facility areas
• Ensure that course and facility conditions meets the Crystal Springs standards of quality
• Performing any task that would benefit the condition or operation of the golf course

Requirements:

• This position starts in the early mornings in season and entails work in all types of weather conditions.
• Prior golf course experience is highly preferred
• Weekend and Holiday Availability is a must.
• Must be available to work until mid-November
