Job description

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for monitoring production runs and orders through the molding machines, checking for quality, and maintaining a clean work area throughout Main Molding and Polycams.

Functions:

1. Attend up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements.
2. Check all molded products hourly for defects and report any issues to the Team Leader/Processor for correction and problem-solving. If unavailable, notify the Quality and Shift Supervisor.
3. Responsible for grinding runners and checking cappers for runners.
4. Clean track, bowls, conveyors, and upright conveyor as necessary.
5. Perform quality checks on Hygrade products, including defect detection.
6. Complete labels, place them on boxes, and ensure rejected and accepted products are separated.
7. Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, including cleaning and housekeeping duties.
8. Operate and monitor grinders and presses to ensure products meet specifications, schedules, and deadlines.
9. Lift/move up to 35 lbs frequently; stand, walk, bend, crouch, squat, and reach as required.

Secondary functions:

Perform assembly and inspection duties as needed, especially when primary tasks are unavailable, based on skill and availability.
