Permobil is hiring a Machine Operator in Pasco, WA. The role involves setting up and operating production machinery to fabricate wheelchair components, following drawings and specifications. Candidates should read blueprints, measure parts precisely, and maintain quality while working on a fast-paced line.

You will work 1st shift, 5:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Thursday, with potential overtime. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience with fabrication equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience operating manufacturing machinery safely.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings/blueprints.
• Ability to use precision measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, gauges).
• Basic math skills and attention to detail; reliable attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines according to work instructions and drawings.
• Operate and monitor production equipment (benders, CNCs, waterjets, saws).
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Load materials safely and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Collaborate with team leads to meet production schedules.
